Anonymous: The Time I Lived Off the Land - 1/22/2026
I just woke it seemed I was sleeping really well and I was so refreshed despite the wisp of cold air that flowed over me. My god theres the trickling of a waterfall and moss it was drenched and majestic my first thought my second thought am I alone is someone else here. “Oh man what if I can’t find my way back.” Imagined living off the land they did it years ago I could. I succumb to the graceful thought and I see if there’s any wildlife first maybe a salamander or a toad a dragonfly I’m going to look for a fish. I could plant and pick berries. As I’m gazing into the pool of water for fish I heard a man’s voice behind. “He says you are carrie.” I turned he has a uniform for the park a park wait a minute this one. I gasped I am. That’s me. I’m afraid I don’t even know how I got here. He says well then you probably don’t know where you are. I was stunned I still can’t recall anything. Was in a coma was I in the shortest coma. “Please tell me who is looking for me” he said your brother he said you were all out here together and looked around and you were gone. That still doesn’t make sense I said but okay. Then I’m thinking as were walking he was quiet I was doing some soul searching. “It was the toad, I licked him!”

Thanksgiving we all joined in to cook different dishes and it was a lot of food we all cooked, it lasted for 4 days :) Then when we finished eating we played the card game crazy 8’s but we was so full :) we sat back and watched Lillies of the Fields, then time to get rest :) Thanksgiving day was so nice where we all just enjoyed cooking eating spending time together.

Megan: Staying Warm - 12/04/2025
I enjoy the quiet calm of staying warm. Inside with a book or two whilst the storm blows through clearing the snow the next day we are going to have a hot chocolate and shiver when we are done.
But the puddles! And oh! The slush throughout the world; the push through the cold for the families, for birth, for spring. Oh the subtle promise of spring on the horizon when it’s almost over.
The picturesque bright green sprouts pushing up into the soggy dirt. The new sprouts exactly where they are supposed to be. We leave for work. We say we miss you and we really do

This is an mandarin a type of small citrus fruit sweet flavor soft covering of fruit and smells great I name it Kevin.
Hello my name is Kevin I’m a mandarine orange. People often underestimate me because of my size. My insides gives you a burst of goodness in ever slice. I often discolor due to atmospheres and how my owner planted me. Maybe one day we can hang out if you promise not to eat me.
Looking for my picker
I imagine who you’ll be how you look where you’re from and you can see my tree
I love watching others, so anxious for my turn, someone just picked out my brother. I’ll smile when I’m picked, nothing else matters, and once I get eaten, I’ll come back as a planter.
I was a good leaf from a patch tree
I remind you of Christmas time and adornments to decorate the Christmas tree
I am almost fully grown I have changed colors I smell like the beige wet leaves that fall off the trees in the fall time on the front of me my color has turned to velvet smoke rose purple red and on the back I have veins.
I was walking with my father in riverside park and I asked him about our walk the park and the trees and he reached up and plucked a leaf from a big wide tree that was tall and sort of beige like the sycamore trees the lead was green dark and fully grown and he gave me the leaf and he told me if I liked it keep it to put it in my pocket I was round about 5 years old I put the leaf in my pocket and we kept walking to enjoy over to the park it taught me to respect our trespass through the area and to love and be kind to the trees and ask for love and relationship
