Queens Open Hearts is collecting donations of shelf-stable foods for residents of a supportive housing site in Jamaica, Queens.

We’re looking for items like:

• Canned fruits and vegetables

• Canned fish and meat

• Soups and stews

• Boxed juice

• Nut butters

• Rice

• Pasta.

We’re also looking for volunteers to help transport the donations to the housing site in mid-July.
